Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate the motivational factors that impact the second-year non-English majors in learning English vocabulary at HaiPhong Management and Technology University. The aims of this study are set out as follows: To find out how motivational factors affecting non - English major sophomore in learning English vocabulary? To suggest some solutionsin order to help students avoid demotivation in the process of learning new words and provide teachers with useful information, thanks to it, they teach more effectively.
