Challenges for Industrial Production

Abstract

The need of insreasing production efficiency, the improvement of environmental performance, the compliance with legal requirements, and, at the same time, the conser-vation of the social responsibility are only some of the future challenges for industry. Technical improvements, govermental initiatives and changes in industry structures challenge enterprises especially in fast growing economies such á China and Chile.
