dc.description.abstractSand compaction pile method (SCP) is one of the typical methods used in Hanoi - Hai Phong highway project. Compacted sand piles are created by stuffing sand under soft ground. It helps to increase water drainage and soil compaction. After the soil ground was treated with SCP, it may increase the Degree of consolidation, intensity and stability. The results of the analysis of geotechnical softwares such as K-Embankment and Geoslop with data analysis by Asaoka and Hypecbolic methods make the assessment of the effectiveness of the SCP method in soft ground treatment more accurate.en_US
