dc.description.abstract | The aim of this paper is to givethe overview of blind steganalysis for attacking the LSB (least significant bit) matching based steganography in spatial domain. LSB-basedsteganography is a conventional method and can be dividedinto two classes, the LSB substitution [1] and LSB matching [2]. LSB substitution is a method that the LSBs of the cover pixels are simply overwritten by the secret bit stream. However, the LSB matching, a counterpart of LSB substitution, makes the detection of hidden message much more difficult. The LSB matching does not simply overwrite the LSBs. Instead, the randomly selected sample value is increased or decreased if its LSB does not match the secret message bit to be embedded. From the survey and analysis LSB techniques and a number of steganalysic techniques the paper gives other detection methods for classification results equivalent to or better in any case than other detection techniques. | en_US |
