Language Communication Challenges of Vietnamese Students Abroad
Abstract
This thesis investigates the language communication challenges experienced by Vietnamese students studying abroad, with a focus on those living in Korea, Japan, and China. As the number of Vietnamese international students has grown significantly in recent years, language barriers have become a central concern affecting their academic performance, social integration, and daily communication. The objectives of the study are to identify the major linguistic difficulties Vietnamese students encounter, examine how these challenges influence their academic and social experiences, and propose effective strategies to enhance communication competence in foreign environments.
