Abstract
Wireless Power Transmission (WPT) is not a dream anymore. The advancement of technology has made it possible to transfer electricity without the help of wire. Solar Power Satellite (SPS) combined with WPT, offers the far term potential to solve major energy problems on Earth. In this paper, among different wireless system available for electrical energy transmission, we have discussed about SPS, its basic concept, advantage, economic benefits and biological impacts.
