Ethnography as Christian Theology and Ethics

Abstract

This book’s origins can be described by charting two distinct paths: the direct route and the detours. Above, we briefly summarize the formal road taken through academic circles. Yet, in another sense, this book came about through a longer, winding, serendipitous, and somewhat unpredictable path of friend-ship. Much scholarship, whether explicitly acknowledged or not, comes out of collaboration (formal and informal) among two or more people.
