Abstract

This short book has emerged from the conviction that God is discovered locally: not least in the local church, where strangeness and warmth are found in equal measure. It is for those within the Church who may, just occasionally, struggle with its barminess, and also for those on the outside who are intrigued by faith but always find it beyond them.
