How to improve listening skills via watching English films for firstyear English majored students at Haiphong University of Management and Technology

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: To investigate the difficulties encountered by first-year English majors at Hai Phong University of Management and Technology in developing their English listening skills, and to propose effective strategies to enhance this skill. To encourage students who struggle with listening comprehension to put in more effort and dedication in their studies. To provide a list of recommended films and suggest effective ways for using them to improve English listening proficiency.
