Some difficulties in English communication of first-year students at Hai Phong University of Management and Technology with foreigners and some suggested solutions

Abstract

The fact that the first-year students at Hai Phong University of Management and Technology has difficulty communicating with foreigners. They are often shy and awkward when talking to others, and very few of them can confidently converse with foreigners. In order to help freshmen students be more confident in communicating, making friends and discovering more cultures from native speakers. Moreover, it is to find out the difficulties that students often face and propose some solutions to overcome the difficulties. Stemming from the reasons mentioned above, the study “Some difficulties in English communication of first-year students at Hai Phong University of Management and Technology with foreigners and some suggested solutions” was carried out.
