Abstract

This volume constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 4th International Workshop on Hybrid Artificial Intelligence Systems, HAIS 2009, held in Salamanca, Spain, in June 2009.The 85 papers presented, were carefully reviewed and selected from 206 submissions.
