dc.description.abstractEnglish is an international language and an essential subject in Vietnamese schools. It supports the development of four key skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Vocabulary is the foundation of these skills, yet many sixth-grade students find it difficult to learn and remember new words. These difficulties often arise from various factors. This study, carried out at Truong Tho Secondary School, explores the common obstacles that sixth-grade students face in vocabulary learning. By using surveys and data analysis, the research identifies the root causes of these problems and suggests practical, effective vocabulary learning strategies. The goal is to help students improve their vocabulary acquisition and enhance the overall effectiveness of English teaching and learning at the lower secondary level.en_us
