dc.description.abstractMisreading about the meanings of hand gestures can lead misunderstanding about the culture or the meaning in communication of partners. Thus, in this graduation paper, the use of hand gestures – an important part of non-verbal communication – will be concentrated and analyzed, so that they could help readers understand and improve their ability of speaking without words. Based on the importance and requirement of non-verbal language, especially hand gestures, some useful hand gestures in daily life will be listed and emphasized in this graduation paper. They are able to help young students understand and practice in communication in different cultures.en_US
