Abstract

The core of this book is based upon experiments used by the author over a number of years for undergraduate teaching in Apphed Physics and Engineering Science courses at both Honours and Pass Degree level. About this core will be found other experiments, which it is hoped, are suitable on the one hand for courses of Higher National Certificate and Diploma level in Applied Physics and on the other for postgraduate level work, such as for example those in Nuclear Physics.
