Abduzeedo Inspiration Guide for Designers

Abstract

This book is an extension of all the ambitions I’ve had for the site, a way to gather them in a place where the type of insight and instruction and inspiration I’ve provided on the site is organized around the key styles and movements that define design and illustration today. Each chapter is broken down into four sections: Introduction, Gallery, Interview, and Tutorial. In the Introduction sections, I provide some background on each of our major design styles and genres: Abstract Art, Retro, Illustration, Photo Manipulation, Light Effects, Vector Art, and Neosurrealism. These sections are designed to supply a context or a foundation for everything that follows in the chapter.
