dc.description.abstractThe aim of this paper is to propose a new steganalytic method that can reliably detect stego image which has been covering secret message using hiding text steganography (it calls Modulus method). The Modulus method was proposed by Chin-Feng Lee et al, in 2010 [3]. The techniqueallows many bits can be embedded on a pixel of image. We base on analysis of histogram of between cover image (original image) and Modulus stego image (after embedding message in cover image by Modulus method), from this observing we detect numbers of odd pixels greater than numbers of even pixels in stego image while two numbers equal to approximately in cover image. We build some math expressions to prove this problem from cover image to Modulus stego image. Therefore, we give a method to detect a image which either cover secret text or not. Experimental results show the detection efficient of the steganography with various embedding length are acceptable. The proposed technique can be applied in detecting the misuse of steganographic technology in malicious activities.en_US
