dc.description.abstractThis paper describes the design, simulation and fabrication of two rectifying antenna (rectenna) circuit topologies viz. rectenna using half wave series diode and shunt diode half wave rectifier operating at a single ISM – band frequency (f0 = 2.45GHz). The antenna and two rectifiers were also fabricated by the printed circuit board technology. The antenna’s return loss is achieved -26 dB at 2.45GHz. The microwave to DC conversion efficiency in shunt configuration was measured as 31% with 14 dBm input power and 220 load. The design, fabrication and simulated results were carried out by the microwave engineering professional design software, known as ADS2009 package.en_US
