Abstract

Many students view science as learning vocabulary terms, labeling pictures, and memorizing facts. Science includes much more than that! Have you ever wondered or asked yourself questions about the world around you? This is science. Science works best when driven by your own curiosity and innovation. In order for you to experience science in its fullest sense you must take it beyond the classroom and into your everyday experience. In order to be meaningful certain guidelines can help us. Science is not limited to matter, changes in the earth s surface, or electricity, but there are crosscutting concepts threaded throughout all scientific disciplines
